Step 3..."Final Design and Construction Documents"
This is the point in the process that we take over and create just for you a Final Design including a Floor Plan and Elevations reflecting everything you have requested and shared with us in your Client Survey, Homework Assignment, and Skype Consultation. If your project requires additional attention, move up a category in our Design Packages and we will be more than glad to go that extra step in providing you the items your project and Contractor needs.
FLOOR PLAN
1. This is a the critical "Road Map" to your projects success!
2. Locates all major items required in your project in a scaled drawing showing not
only you the final layout but also provides your Contractor a guide as to exactly
where things go without them having to constantly asking you.
ELEVATIONS
1. Helps you "see" how things are going to look on each vertical wall plane.
2. Gives the opportunity to show how high off the floor items such as towel bars
are mounted so that there is no guessing in the middle of construction.
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
1. Whether you have purchased just a Floor Plan and Elevations or a more
extensive design package, these drawings serve as the Construction Documents
that will be used throughout the entire project by not only yourself but also
your Contractor to insure the project turns out just as designed.
2. Remember that the Construction Documents; known as CD's, are also known
as CONTRACT Documents. Yes, the set of drawings used for the construction
and completion of your project is a Legal and Binding Contract between You
and your Contractor. The information on these documents shall be installed
per the design shown unless there are items that are not visible prior to the
beginning of construction. If unforeseen things occur during your project,
please do not hesitate to contact us immediately so we can help you resolve the
issue no matter how small or how large the item is.
SKYPE CONSULTATION
1. "Live" Consultations via Skype calls will take place at critical times throughout
the Design and Construction process and progress of your project.
2. This is the next best thing to having your personal Design Concierge local and
there in person to either see the progress or to join in on a decision that needs
to be made before the next item can proceed.
